Registered Manager
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: To be discussed at interview
Work Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Manage the day-to-day running of services in conjunction with the locality manager and Registered Provider.
Ensure effective and efficient management of resources.
Monitor and report on quality and performance matters.
Undertake training and development to keep up to date with best practice, changes, and new initiatives.
Apply this knowledge to the management and delivery of care and services.
Understand and monitor health and safety in the workplace.
Act as lead for infection prevention and control.
Maintain accurate records and reporting systems in line with legal requirements.
Implement quality management and improvement systems.
Manage complaints and incidents effectively and use findings to make improvements.
Monitor service users’ financial records in line with RQIA standards and internal policies.
Liaise with managers, maintenance, and suppliers to ensure repairs, replacements, and supplies are maintained.
Work flexibly to ensure safe service delivery.
Promote the rights of service users at all times based on dignity, respect, and person-centred care.
Provide a supportive and stimulating environment that offers choice and helps service users maximise their potential.
Co-ordinate assessments, Person Centred Plans and Individual Support Plans, ensuring standards of care meet individual needs.
Provide guidance and support to staff on care planning, risk management, record-keeping and reporting.
Ensure service users and their representatives understand the service and know how to raise concerns.
Monitor accidents, incidents, safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action.
Ensure service user and staff information is kept secure and confidential and comply with FOI and GDPR.
Support recruitment, induction, and training of senior and support staff.
Identify ongoing training needs in conjunction with training co-ordinator.
Ensure staffing levels meet service needs at all times.
Implement policies relating to absence, leave, disciplinary and grievance matters.
Provide supervision, guidance and appraisals to ensure safe and effective practice.
Respond to emergency on-call issues and support staff as required.
Provide out-of-hours support on a rotational basis.
Promote teamwork and hold regular staff meetings.
Ensure communication channels are open and effective.
Promote involvement of relevant disciplines to meet service users’ needs.
Provide a caring service and treat all those you interact with respectfully.
Demonstrate commitment by consistent attendance and completion of tasks.
Comply with Health & Safety policies, procedures, regulations and legislation.
Adhere to Equality and Good Relations duties.
Option 1:
One of the following professional qualifications:
Social Work qualification + NISCC registration
First level Registered Nurse (NMC)
Allied Health Professional (HCPC)
AND
2. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in health or social care, including at least 1 year in hospital/residential/supported living for people with Learning Disabilities.
Minimum 2 years must be in a supervisory/management capacity.
OR
Option 2:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adult Management) and eligible for full NISCC registration.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in health or social care, including at least 1 year in residential/supported living for people with Learning Disabilities.
Minimum 2 years must be in a supervisory/management capacity with full NISCC registration.
